What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn’t have any doubt — it is sure to get where
it is going, and it doesn’t want to go anywhere else.

I wasn’t able to get to the river until late last night. I had a project to handle in the morning, an interview in the afternoon and a class last night and it was pouring when I got up. I didn’t make it down to the river until almost 10 pm.
We moved back into mid-April weather…rainy and cold. The river was almost deserted but it was a great way to end a very long day… the river almost always calms my mind.
I shot at 3200 ASA. This is pretty grainy and there is a real color shift. I love the way the camera sees things at night…
Addendum to 5/3/11 Post:
Several people have told me they didn’t understand yesterday’s post. I guess I just assumed everyone knows the movie This Is Spinal Tap or at least has been exposed to this scene…Spinal Tap – Stonehenge… oops, my bad. Moving along…
