One Billion Rising held actions, dance, rise, strikes, all over the world yesterday.

ONE BILLION RISING will move the earth, activating women and men across every country. V-Day wants the world to see our collective strength, our numbers, our solidarity across borders…”

There were 100 events (or more) in the five Boroughs of New York City alone.  I was able to photograph/participate in two events. The first was a flash(dance) mob at Columbus Circle, the second was in Times Square.
