I am afraid that you will need to provide the action today. I am going to talk about the Oscars now so if you have no interest in that check out the two pictures at the bottom of the post.
Who is watching The Academy Awards Sunday? Do you have any favorites? Who do you think will win? In your office pool yet?
I’m going with
Argo
Tommy Lee Jones and unfortunately
that woman from Les Miz.
Spielberg or Lee
I wish Wes Anderson & Roman Coppola (Moonrise Kingdom) would win for original screenplay but I expect Mark Boal will.
Adapted David O. Russell
Amour Best Foreign Film hands down. And I say that there is no chance that Seth MacFarlane will come near the job that Tina Fay and Amy Poehler did at the Golden Globes.

You bought did real well with your picks.
My favorite moment during the last hour (I did not watch before then) was Streisand singing “The Way We Were.”
Did not like the First Lady announcing the Best Picture. Just shows how tied into Hollywood this president really is.
Last photo is very interesting….the time fascinated me.

Interesting. It is the clock that really made the picture for me.

Tired? Who gets tired?

Guess we’ll watch it, as usual, even though I have no interest in it, really.
Love the last image!

I’m not watching them, but I will check some of it out online here and there.
If I had to go with who I really think deserves to win, versus the big pr machine that truly chooses the winners, here are my picks.
Best Picture: Life of Pi
Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis
Best Actress: Emmanuelle Riva (sorry, I know you love Jennifer, and I do, too, but Ms Riva is 86, and I think it would be awesome if she won.)
Best Supporting Actor: Robert De Niro
Best Supporting Actress: Sally Field
Best Director: Ang Lee
Best Gown: Because I am shallow enough to watch the arrivals for the clothes, I suspect this one will be a tie between Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain. We shall see.

You nailed the gown based on the pre-show voting. Oops – just got director too.
