10-1-12 Who Knows Where The Time Goes

“October is nature’s funeral month.  Nature glories in death more than in life.  The month of departure is more beautiful than the month of coming – October than May.  Every green thing loves to die in bright colors.”
–   Henry Ward Beecher

In keeping with the above it seems that after 122,757 miles the Graciemobile is set to retire.  Just like an old man, its veins are leaking, its bones are frail, its kidneys need replacing and its plugs are having trouble sparking.  After I dropped it off at the shop and before I got the diagnosis, I walked down to the river and up to 72nd Street. It was definitely an October day. Bright sunshine, cool temperatures and a brisk wind.

I took a shot from the front but decided it was a bit risqué for this PG-13 rated blog. All I will say is she likes to share…

A last burst of life…

The portal between two beings…

Missing you….

One more weekend of free kayaking before the season ends…
