In honor of Mr. Cage ( I am reading Kay Larson’s book: Where The Heart Beats – John Cage, Zen Buddhism and the Inner Life of Artists), I pulled out the first ten “self portraits” I found in the archives, printed them, shuffled them, split them into two piles, and labeled each of them 1-5 and then rolled a pair of dice, one for each pile. If a six came up there would be no picture from that pile. If both die came up six, this would be the first Quotidian Hudson without a picture. As it occurred, that did not happen.
