6-24-13 Union Square – Last Day Of Spring: Blast From The Past; Look At The Future

As I mentioned a few days ago I was in Union Square recently (6/20/13 to be precise) and the joint was jumping. The Union Square Partnership had a stah=ge up at the south end and the Peridance Capezio Center were performing.  The musicians were out in full force all around the Square and park, the vendors, the lost boys and girls, the Yoga Society. It just went on and on.

My two favorites, for very different reasons were the following. The first group introduced themselves simply as Eastern European massage therapists and proceeded to put on a demonstration of their work. These two pictures don’t show the most exciting aspect of what they do but I like them the most.

My other favorites were because they were such a trip in time. And I loved the gentleman who was working with them.

Real 70’s deja vu…sometimes the past is best left there…
