7-9-13 Teaser Tuesday (New Meme For Me)

Thought I would take a shot at a new weekly challenge.

Why?

Just because.

I heard about this through TBM at 50 Year Project. Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play. Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

“I put on rouge, Monsieur.”

“That explains everything.

    • Yup, A bad person you must be! Straight to spam, go you! (Channeling Yoda, am I.)
Lord knows why. Almost everywhere I post now, I need to be moderated, even if I have been commenting for years…

      • Thanks for pulling me out of the naughty file. I had a boss you used to talk like Yoda, but she didn’t do it to be funny, which made it funnier for me, but I couldn’t laugh.

  1. I should do this meme…….if I can ever remember to do them……..I am so bad at memes.

I’ll give you my current read, though.

America’s early vice presidents were usually bored. The Constitution spelled out a single, rather dull, duty of the office: presiding over the Senate, ruling on procedural matters, unable even to join in the debates.

(Research for my next book……..because I am stupid enough to write another one.)
