8-12-13 Weekly Photo Challenge: One Shot – Two Ways Part Deux

Here is my second pass at the Weekly Photo Challenge: One Shot-Two Ways.   The first is here. As you may recall the challenge was to get a horizontal and vertical of the same scene/thing/etc., in the same time frame.

While thinking about tonight’s post I realized that some of you who have been kind enough to visit on a regular basis must be familiar with my jumping on hobby horses and not letting a subject go into I’ve ridden it into the dirt.  Tonight is another example of that. I am glad for your patience.

El Anatsui has a piece on the High Line. I showed a version of it yesterday in the iPhone post. The piece is called Broken Bridge II. Why II? It was shown in Paris in 2012 in a different configuration.

It is the largest piece he has ever done.

Here we go…horizontal!Broken Bridges 2 - El Anatsui-0071
