Challenge: Object

I am fortunate enough to be taking a class with Amy Arbus over the next ten weeks at ICP (International Center of Photography) called the “The Fleeting Moment: Moving Portraits.”

Our assignment this week is to make portraits of “someone moving in water.” At first glance in New York City in January, perhaps not so easy. But people have lots of ways to move in water beyond the bathtub and the lake/ocean/stream. One way that occurred to me involves my good friend Susan.
