3-30-14 Travel Theme:Statues

We have a somewhat famous statue here in NYC…I refer to her as the first lighthouse of the Hudson River. (Ailsa grabbed one view of her for her blog but I thought I would take a different look.)…DSC_0083

The lady is hardly the only statue here in new York. One of my favorites stands in Kimlau Square in Chinatown: the statue of Lin Zexu.

  1. Love the cloud cover in the first photo. I think the brownish-orangey sky goes very well with the grey of the clouds. Seems like it was taken close to dusk. Great shot 🙂
