    • MAD MEN SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!

I’m of (at least) two minds. To be crass and compare, it was certainly not as good as The Sopranos but better than Breaking Bad.
Not pleased with the fan fiction Peggy ending. Very stoked with the Joan ending and pleased that Roger went out just being the best Roger he could be. Very appreciated the soft landings of Pete and Ken (old boys network is still the best Affirmative Action.)
As for the Drapers? I liked the ambiguity (I don’t think he goes back or writes the commercial but I sure see the argument for it.) I think he stays out west and becomes the brains behind the selling of EST or Lifespring. Sally goes to Santa Barbara or Berkeley. He either gets the boys full time or splits the year with Henry. (Dead women don’t get to overrule parental rights.)
Certainly satisfied with the ending. Also, in general, made me long for the days you could truly just get up and go and people could not track your every move. The freedom of no cell phone or internet? God, I miss that. People freak out if you go off the grid for 24 hours without warning nowadays.
