Edward Weston

I thought today I would do a little flashback to April 15, 2011 when The Quotidian Hudson was but a toddler. I hope you don’t mind. Follow the link back to the childhood of this blog!

Oddly enough, given the title “Time”

1-8-13 Shades Of Gray (No, No No)

After seeing the Picasso I find myself in a black and white mood so I thought I would play with that a little today.

This is a statue of Shinran Shonin founder of the Jodoshinshu school of Buddhism. It stands in front of The New York Buddhist Church on Riverside Drive between 105th and 106th Streets. He looks out at the park and the Hudson River. This statue was brought to New York City from Hiroshima after it survived the atomic bombing of that city.
